Implementation of sustainability regulations by Blackfort AG

For us, Blackfort AG, long-term oriented and sustainable behavior for the benefit of all stakeholders is a central part of our mission as well as the guiding principle of all our activities.

Strategies for the inclusion of sustainability risks (Art. 3 of the Disclosure Regulation)

For us, Blackfort AG, long-term oriented and sustainable action for the benefit of all stakeholders is a central component of our mission and the guiding principle of all our activities. Nevertheless, we do currently not implement the strategies for including sustainability risks in the investment decision-making process as required by EU regulations and consequently do not take into account the adverse effects on sustainability factors. One of the reasons for this is that regulatory and market developments are currently very dynamic.

Unfavorable sustainability impacts (Art. 4 Disclosure Ordinance)

According to the Disclosure Ordinance, sustainability factors are environmental, social and employee matters, respect for human rights and the fight against corruption and bribery. Material adverse sustainability impacts are defined as significant negative impacts of investments on sustainability factors. Blackfort AG does not currently take any adverse sustainability impacts into account. For example, not all companies are currently obliged to report on sustainability factors or to provide non-financial reporting on these topics. There is therefore insufficient data available to comprehensively determine and weight any adverse sustainability impacts. Data availability is regularly monitored to check whether the most important adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors can be taken into account.

Consideration of sustainability risks in the remuneration policy (Art. 5 Disclosure Regulation)

The inclusion of sustainability risks has no effect on the remuneration policy of Blackfort AG. The remuneration policy does not provide any incentives to take excessive sustainability risks in accordance with the Disclosure Ordinance when making investment decisions as part of portfolio management or with regard to the investment strategies specified by Blackfort AG.
